TMG Affordable Housing LLC was designed as a division of the Maysonet Group umbrella, specializing in Affordable Housing Management and Development. Mr. Pedro Maysonet is a product of the Affordable Housing program. Growing up in a project base section 8 community, better known as the Red Hook Projects in Brooklyn New York, Mr. Maysonet learned that Affordable Housing is not a lifetime form of living, but a stepping stone to a better life.  At the early age of 5 years old, Mr. Maysonet and his mother ended in the streets homeless, after being abandon by his father. His mother found emergency housing assistance by the New York Housing Authority, where she was awarded subsidize housing in Brooklyn New York. She told her son (Mr. Maysonet) that this was simply a stepping stone to better living, that subsidize housing is just a form of assistance to allow people to get back to their feet and get back on track to better things in life. Mr. Maysonet experienced this to be true, as his mother worked hard and soon was able to move to Florida out of subsidize housing and into a normal rental community in a middle-class neighborhood, where Mr. Maysonet attended school and made long-time friends.

Mr. Maysonet is very passionate about the Affordable Housing missions, and while his mother and him were able to get out of living in Affordable Housing, Affordable Housing will always be a part of his life. He wants to provide the world the same assistance his mother and him received from New York Housing Authority, and teach the residents the same teaching he learned about stepping stones and better life-styles. Subsidize or low income housing are not designed for people to live their entire life in the system, but to allow people to land back in their feet, and get the assistance they need to get financially stabilized. This is why TMG Affordable Housing LLC is one of the Maysonet Group’s main departments.
